DJ Svoger, The Friday Track, Week 17

kaytradamusThe first time we paid attention to the work of canadian Kaytranada, was with his great remix of Teedra Moses’ “Be Your Girl”, later on he reworked Janet Jackson, Erykah Badu and others with huge succes and skill. This week Kaytranada shared yet another hot remix, this time Amerie’s “Why Don’t We Fall In Love” which is a job so well done, with a free download, that this track was a logical choice for this week’s “Friday Track”… enjoy;

DJ Svoger, The Friday Track – Week 16

This weeks track is no less than a brilliant collaboration between the Montreal-based producer Jacques Green and young R&B vocalist Tinashe. They have created this beautiful track, named “Painted Faces”, which has been released for the Yours Truly and adidas originals “Songs from Scratch” series. Apparently the duo went into the studio i January and created this amazing result in just one day! Enjoy it. It will make your friday so much better!

DJ Svoger, The Friday Track – week 15

JoyceMunizThe original idea by posting a track for the weekend, was just to choose the track that we had heard most during the week. This week we are very true to that concept, as Joyce Muniz’s “Trust Your Enemies” feat. Knixx has had heavy rotation in the past week and therefore DJ Svoger’s “Track of the Week” … Joyce Muniz is a Vienna-based, Brazilian DJ, vocalist and producer, who fuses European club sounds with tropical rhythmic influences from Brazil, South America, Africa and the Carribbean, while built on a solid foundation of percussion and heavy bass… what’s not to like;)

As always, we hope that this creates inspiration, joy, celebration and lots of good times – enjoy!

DJ Svoger, The Friday Track – week 14

imagesCA1GGTJBThis weeks track is brought to you by the band Pool from Hamburg, Germany. So incredibly vocally laid back, as if they couldn’t care less. Yet with a bubbling electronic bass and that fantastic and funky guitar riff that is sooo catchy and gets your feet moving. This track is taken off their Flex EP, and this version of the title track is remixed by no less than Aeroplane. Enjoy this and let this get your weekend going. Love!
