DJ Svoger – The Oceanside Mixtape II

TOS IIDJ Svoger brings you some fresh and beachy tunes, with the launch of ‘Volume II’ in the new Mixtape series, we named ‘The Oceanside Mixtapes’ – it’s more funky than ‘The Rooftop Mixtapes’, more happy-go-lucky than ‘The Sound of Sundays’ and almost as cool as our monthly lovechilds.

This time we play around with some very rare tracks, like the James Morris Remix of Yes’ ‘Owner of a Lonely Heart’, which is quite a scoop and new stuff from Artful, just to mix it up with classic tracks like Goldroom’s ‘Fifteen’ and Bondax’ ‘Gold’, but both in new remixes and you just might have heard the Austin Ato ‘Dreams’ before, as it’s a remix of the Louie Vega and Jay ‘Sinister’ Sealee’s oldie ‘Diamond Life’ or the revisit of Finnebassen’s best track ever, the remix of ‘If Your Girl Only Knew’…

Not bad at all and that’s what ‘The Oceanside’ concept is all about – the best around, new and old combined. Enjoy!!

DJ Svoger – “The Mister Fire Babylon Mixtape”

MFBNobody put DJ Svoger in the corner Just because we love tropical Deep House and Piano House that makes the floors swing, doesn’t mean that it’s the only music that makes us move or that House is the only vibe, there will get a party started.

That’s why we want to share something new and this time it still got that great vibe, it’s still genuine DJ Svoger and it’s still tropicalbut it’s not House. Maybe it’s reggae, maybe it’s dancehall, someone will probably call it pop or ‘The sound of summer’, while others might think it sounds like dope Jah dub – We do not know, we just call it “The Mister Fire Babylon Mixtape” and it’s our favorite collection of tracks with a reggae and dancehall feel!! Enjoy!

The April 2015 Mixtapes – The B-Tape

We have done it again – scouted too much great music for just one mixtape. So we could either skip a large number of great tracks or mix them together and publish an alternative B-Side mixtape for April.

We chose the last option, because good music should not be held back – so here’s a one hour early warmup release, a few days before the even greater A-Side Mixtape hits you – on the first day of April. This runners up selection contains some previous released tracks, but in fresh new remixes and we have been very entertained by the remixes of Liva K, Costa Mee, Prince Club and Rémi Caumont. On top of that, we give you strong vocals from Nina Simone, Ariana Grande, Beyonce and Jessie Ware on the same tape – just to add that little ‘extra’ in front of ‘ordinary – B-Sides or not… Enjoy! Track ID;

1. Ben Macklin & Le Flex – “Escape” 2. Lany – “Bad, Bad, Bad” (Matt DiMona Remix) 3. Morrt – “All I Want” 4. Ou Est Le Swimming Pool – “Dance The Way I Feel” (Set Mo 5. Remix) 5. DJ Svoger – The Private Party Mixtape

Private Party

When playing at private parties, you’ll get requests for tracks some in the audience either know well or just want to hear right away – worst case, with no respect for the work that’s being done. So playing at small private parties is a job DJ Svoger has immense respect for, since the chances of success depends on the number of jerks attending – no matter how much great music you introduce to these morons.

Thankfully private parties on the other hand can be some of the best parties around, when everybody just wants to have a good time and contribute with great energy and happy vibes – creating a night to remember. This friday we give you fresh mixtape as a tribute to all these wonderful people, who knows how to rock a party, spread some love and share the joy.

We simply call it ‘The Private Party’ and have picked some classy dance tracks, who people probably know, as we have shared some of the tracks before, but never in this constellation and hopefully this mixtape will get a great private party started somewhere and make the good times roll.

So all you beautiful party people, this one is for you…

DJ Svoger, The Friday Track, Week 45

LysThis is one of those weeks where Sunday is arriving early…

Welcome to the launch of our sixth edition of the DJ Svoger “Sound of Sundays” mixtapes. These mixtapes contains tracks that we have picked up around, when we have searched for new tracks across the web, collecting stuff for the usual DJ Svoger mixtapes.

Sometimes you come across a special track that eventhough it’s really great, it won’t fit in anywhere – when that happens, then we know that we just found a “Sound of Sundays” track, and when we have collected enough there are suitable for each other, then it’s time for a new “Sound of Sundays” mixtape and today is such a day.

In our “Sound of Sundays” series you will find odd mixes, crazy constellations and strange tracks you probably never have heard before …all with a mellow, identical and ambient vibe in general.

We hope that you will enjoy this sixth attempt to create a cosy daylight soundtrack and let us spice up your weekend with some new tracks… and if you wonder what “hygge” on the candles in the photo above means – then it’s the danish word for cosiness, which is the essence of “Sound of Sundays VI”… now chill.

Sound of Sundays, vol. IV has arrived!

DistinoIt has been a great summer for DJ Svoger – we have collected loads of new great music, creating new plans for our future and enjoyed the clublife in Ibiza. But now we are back and we start with our Volume 4 of “The Sound of Sundays” mixtapes. This time we go back to the roots and the original idea, to keep it below 120 bpm, to hit the atmosphere as sunsets, days at the pool or drinks on the Balearic terrace can produce. We added some of the more classy, but reworked material into this edition, so you might discover that it’s slightly different than the previous releases – and as always, we hope you like it, download it and share it with all your friends…

The DJ Svoger Friday Track, Week 23

brother-e1336189863159This might be a so last year track, but it hasn’t become the summer hardhitter it deserves. The french band Stuck in the Sound has teamed up with the local and talented Yuksek, to create a perfect remix of disco, Europop and french dance. It’s friday, the sun is up and there is no excuse for not turning the volume up to this remix and remember; you don’t need flashing lights to create a dance floor…

Happy Birthday Svoger!

Today it is half of the DJ Svoger teams birthday. Congratulations Lars!

We celebrate it with a track from way back, and I’m sure it brings back a memory or two …

You’re the best!

My Madonna monday… in a Roskilde week!
